Two Menston Walks

Two amazing circular walks, starting and finishing in the centre of Menston.

The first was devised by Andrew Franks, and takes walkers up on to Burley Moor up to an outcrop of rocks known locally by several names – Lanshaw Rocks, the Grub Stones or the Castle.

The second was devised by Geoff Lomas for Menston in Bloom in 2021. This is a gentle walk and stays more local to Menston – but invites you to appreciate the many different trees in the village. The walk is packed with tree identification information and links to follow.
